I had a very productive weekend in creative world

Well these pictures don't do this book justice due to bad lighting but....This is a book I made for a girl at work who has a nephew that is in the Marines. The book is actually for the girls sister who is the mother of the youngster who is in the Marines. (did I lose you at any point?) LOL!Inside the book I made 2 areas to act as folders for written letters sent home. The blank pages are for mom to write down stuff or post pictures that might come her way. I'm really happy with how this turned out.
And last but not least this is a layout I made with the July kit from RVKC ....It's been a long time since I scrapped for myself.

I added a few things outside of the kit like these AC chipboard pcs. from the Travel line. And some grid scrap paper from scenic route.

So anyway.....Since today is my Birthday I got to decide where we are going to eat.

And my decision was The Cheesecake Factory in Milwaukee... Conveniently located next to the Mayfair Mall.

And after my meal this is the kind of Cheesecake I'm going to have a piece of...

Chocolate Mousse Cheesecake

Then after we eat we are going to head over to the mall and this is one of the stores I will be sure to check out... I love Barnes and Noble...And maybe I'll step on over to the Lane Bryant store to get me some new pants.

Photobooth Find

Ok..... So my sister (Julie) and her Husband (Ron) is here from Florida to visit until next friday and yesterday my Mom, Dad, Julie, and I went to Chicago. (Ron was at a Thrasharee) It was the first time that I'd ever been to Navy Pier and as I was walking through the shops I came across this photobooth and right away I said, "OMG Julie we gotta do this". So we squeezed our rear ends into that little seat, sweating our you know whats off (cause it was flammin' yesterday) and started to do our goofy faces like we would do growing up. In the second picture I was laughing so hard that it was difficult for me to keep it under control ( Not to mention all we could hear is mom on the outside of the booth lauging her but off b/c she can see everything we are doing from the screen on the outside of the booth) I am so glad I was able to do this with my sister. This will definately be going into a scrapbook.
