I am so excited about this class....The color alterations is the one I wanted to learn the most. Cant wait to see what tomorrows lesson will bring.

Now for a little update on yesturday's fun....

I didn't completely finish the top layer of my quilt but I did finish all my rows now I need to iron and sew the rows together. But I was very pleased with the amount of work that I accomplished on it. It will be even more exciting when it is finished. And I will definately be posting it. I might show a sneak peek...

Can't wait till spring!!!

I am going to be working on my quilt today...who knows maybe I will accomplish the top layer and post the result Sunday afternoon.



I'm also an artistic edge online class member so I will be posting my results for lesson 1 on Sunday afternoon as well.



I'm going to my boyfriends parents house today to work on quilt and just hang out, will be staying overnight. Al is in a fishing derby today. Our yard is full of trucks and trailers. Soooo! Busy,busy,busy!!! Post soon!

My Homework for my Photography Class Week 1

There is a road right outside of Delavan that I drive almost Daily, and for months I have been wanting a photo of this at sunset and a fresh blanket of snow.
Well my homework for this week is to take a landscape shot (underexposed)
And here Chesney is in a clean pile of clothes that just came out of the dryer.

The beginnings of another new Hobby

Well here she is..... My new sewing machine! This year one goal is to make a lap quilt. I can't wait to go to Jo Anne Fabrics to look for the colors I would like to use. I'm thinkin' spa like colors, rejuvenation like. lavender, sage,....

But first I am going to start out by making a pot holder. I already have the fabric and batting for it. It is brown with aqua polka dots. Can't wait to share with you.

Of course Chesney has to be in the shot.... If I have the door to my craft room open he always has to be in here checking stuff out. Just wish he would stay away from the cords.

Pictured above is a print of one of Elsie's paintings. I think these frames are fun...I want to get more.

And here is a display of my wall art. I'm really liking how this is turning out. Now I just need to decide on a paint color for my room. Something bright, inspirational, and won't clash with my decor. I'm thinking maybe a butter yellow, with ivory white accents. Anyone have any ideas for me? The only windows I have in this room are side by side and the sun never shines in these windows.
