Here is one of my all time favorite cookie bar recipe's, you wanna sweep that certain someone off there feet? Make em' these babies.
Oreo Cookie Bars
30 oreo cookies
3/4 Cup flour
1 Cup flaked coconut
1/4 C. margarine (melted) ...I use butter
1 14oz. can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 C. choc. chips
Heat oven to 375* . Mix cookies, flour, coconut, chocolate chips. Stir in melted margarine, milk and vanilla. Spread in greased (I use Pam) 8 or 9 inch pan. Bake 25- 30 min or until lightly browned around the edges. Cool and cut into bars.
Note : to make in a 9x13 inch pan.... double everything. Just use one whole pkg. of origanal oreo cookies. And keep baking time the same. I usually bake for 30 min. I also use a glass pan. Also do not put these in the fridge. These can be tough to cut so I would suggest cutting just before totally cooled.
